Desert Palms Hotel & Suites Anaheim Resort

Well first off, I called when we were delayed and said we would be arriving late and they set up our room for us before we even arrived with two cribs for our twin boys, that allowed us to easily get our little ones tucked in for the night. The beds and pillows were comfy, the step down living room for the kids was a great separation of space. Everything was clean and in great condition (recent remodel?). The shower had endless hot water and terrific water pressure. Our room was super quiet-we never heard a sound from anyone, even with breakfast buffet being directly above us we never heard a single foot step! The breakfast buffet had lots of choices and the multitude of staff really bustled around keeping everything stocked and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They watched our bags for us and told where we could park at 1:30 am. The walk to Disneyland was quick and easy at 0.7 miles away. I have stayed at a multitude of places in Anaheim, and for all the reasons listed about, it was the Best by far. We are planning another trip soon and definitely plan on staying at the Desert Palm again? If I could give it more than 10 stars I would do so!

1) Proximity - Very near to the Disneyland entrances. It’s about 8-10 min walk with kids 2) No fuss amenities - Good bed & decent bathroom, tea coffee kettle plus microwave plus fridge in room, basic breakfast which is included in the rates, room service restaurant at ground floor, shop in hotel and just outside. Just right for visitors who spend whole day in Disney and spend the night time till morning at the hotel. 3) Very good staff - helpful and welcoming. 4) 24/7 coffee or water self service station at lobby. 5) Toddler play area 6) Ample parking which is extra charge though (we did not use this), 7) Good value for money - did not find any hotel in this price offering above features. Besides that, even if you don’t compare, it’s totally worth it for the price you pay.

Very close to Disneyland AND Downtown Disney!! (BTW, Goofy's Kitchen parking is now at the Disneyland Hotel. They can only validate parking for that lot.) It was a nice walk to and from the parks. A quick stay, but our 2bd/2ba suite was perfect for our party of 8 (4 girls/4 boys). And having a door to close the rooms to the Jill-Jane styled bathrooms was nice. Sinks were open, but each toilet/shower had its own door. BREAKFAST OS ON THE FIFTH FLOOR!!! 😂 But it is delicious and hot and hearty. That helped our large family start the day in the park off right.

The hotel is very close to Disneyland. Although the room is a bit small, the value for money is excellent compared to the surrounding hotels. I must mention that the staff here are extremely friendly. My car was scratched by another vehicle in the parking lot, and the front desk staff helped me file an incident report and actively assisted in contacting the rental car company to handle the situation. I am very grateful for their help! I would definitely stay at this hotel again on my next visit to Disneyland. By the way, the hotel lobby has some hidden Disney-themed Easter eggs, which are really fun!

The hotel was only a 10 minute walk to Disneyland which made it super easy to get to and from the park without having to drive. There is free breakfast provided every morning that has a good selection and the staff is very friendly. My groups main reason to stay was to go to Disneyland, and so this was a great choice for anyone that is able to walk. I definitely will stay here again in the future, both with friends or with kids.
